Building children’s language skills through storybooks

You are invited to join CBE speech-language pathologists to learn how to build children's language through storybooks. This is a three-part series intended for caregivers of kindergarten and grade 1 students (ages 4-7 years). Please note, children are not expected to attend.

We will discuss:

•   The benefits of reading with children

•   Effective strategies to read to children

•   Vocabulary and grammar milestones

•   How to teach vocabulary and grammar through storybooks
