 Please note that photo retakes have been rescheduled from October 17 & 18 to November 2 & 3.  Please let your child's teacher know that you would like retakes.  Class photos will also be taken at this time.  All class photos and K-5 retakes will be taken on November 2, with the exception of the Tuesday/Thursday Kindergarten class who will have their class photos and retakes on November 3

Starting on Monday, October 17, 2022 we will be collecting food/non-perishable items for the Veteran’s Food Drive. There will be boxes set up at the front and back door for food drop off. At Dalhousie school we want to support Calgarians who are less fortunate than us, and one way we are doing this is through the Veteran’s Food Drive. This drive will run until after Remembrance Day. Items that the food bank is urgent need of are the following:

·       Kleenex – tissue boxes

·       Napkins

·       Paper towel

·       1 litre juice cartons

·       Juice boxes for lunches

·       Cereal

·       Coffee and coffee pods

·       Pancake mix

·       Laundry soap

·       Granola bars

·       Ziploc bags (medium and large)

·       Fabric softener

·       Rice packages

·       Cookies

·       Canned chili / stew

·       Mayonnaise

·       $25.00 grocery gift cards

This week we had a "busqueda de colores" (colour hunt).  We tried to find all different shades or yellow, orange, red, green and brown.

We also started some new math centers.  Ask your child what they needed to do for each centre.

We also started an art project with leaves using pastels.  So beautiful!
